SEAToday.com, Jakarta-The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) prohibits the installation of campaign props (APK) for the 2024 elections on public transportation such as buses, trains, and others, which are supposed to be neutral areas. The prohibition was emphasized after the discovery of candidate stickers installed on TransJakarta seats.

"We urge the public not to install APKs on public transportation, especially on buses with stickers,” said Jakarta Transportation Agency Head Syafrin Liputo, Monday (12/18).

Dishub said that they will take down the APK if found on public transportation. It also reminded the passengers of public transportation that installing APK will also be taken down directly.

In addition to Dishub, State Electricity Company (PLN) Greater Jakarta Distribution Unit also asked participants in the 2024 Election not to install APKs on electricity poles because they could potentially endanger the general public.
