SEAToday.com, Jakarta - According to the Lowy Institute's Global Diplomacy Index report, Indonesia holds the distinction of having the most extensive diplomatic network in Southeast Asia. With 130 diplomatic posts, Indonesia ranks first in the region and sixth in Asia. China, however, leads the continent with a significantly larger network of 274 posts.
Following Indonesia are Malaysia in second place with 106 posts and Thailand in third with 97 posts.
