SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Paris is currently hosting the biggest sport event in the world, the 2024 Summer Olympics! Leading up to the event, Statista published research on an estimated total spending of this year’s Olympics.
The projected number totalled to 9.1 billion US dollar, marking the lowest spending on a Summer Olympics since Sydney 2000, which cost 8.1 billion US dollars. In contrast, the Beijing 2008 Olympics holds the record for the highest spending at 52.7 billion US dollars.
