SEAToday.com, Jakarta - “Ready Player One” author Ernest Cline’s Readyverse Studios debuted a trailer of OPEN, Monday (3/11).
OPEN is a third-person battle royale gaming experience powered by web3 technology. The game was said to be “genre defining” and is described as “a multi-biome, multi-IP, multi-mode battle royale experience”. It features a “Ready Player One” biome where players can explore the experience and meet the iconic characters of the franchise. OPEN is said to be the “hero experience” in Readyverse.
Previously, the AI and metaverse technology company Futureverse, announced Readyverse Studios, co-founded by Ernest Cline and “Ready Player One” 2018’s movie producer, Dan Farah. Partnering with Warner Bros. Discovery, the studio sets to bring the “Ready Player One” franchise into the metaverse.
